Sorry I've neglected you...

Life has been busy... Insane!! Managing work and both kids leave little time for blogging or a personal life all together. Finally I have a quiet evening at home and I'm awake enough to not be sleeping!! Lol
Photo's to come soon... Planning on finally editing my summer photos (I know, it's about time since a new summer is just around the corner... Thank god). Still wishing my man was rich enough to support our family so I could focus on my family and my passion for photography!

Return to work week

Yesterday was my first day back at work... A lot of mothers find this time devastating due to being separated from their child... For moi, it was plainly because I did not want to go back to work. My dreams of being a stay at home mom are not realistic for us due to lack of funds. I'm realistic... We have a house, bills to pay and no inheritance or lottery fortune to depend on! I'm not with a doctor or a multi business owner. I'm with a great father, friend and lover. But having to work still sucks!! BIG TIME!

Although I hate working, I still had a good couple of days back. Got to see co-workers I haven't seen in over 2 years!!

Since we can't take photos at work... Figured I would share photos taken during the holidays of my lovely daughter. She hates the camera, which I why I don't post much of her... These photos were taken during a creative afternoon. She loves crafting little concoctions.

 

Pregnancy photos

To this day, I still miss being pregnant. There's something about feeling life inside of you that I just loved so much... I miss the kicking and the constant "swimming" around... I miss the warmth I felt in my heart every time my baby moved. Most of all, I miss knowing that whatever happened in this crazy world, that my baby would be safe and sound.

This week, I got to photograph a great pregnant friend of mine. My first maternity photos!! How I loved it!! While taking the photos, I was so envious of her beauty. She was stunning and glowing!!

Guess who turned one...

You were the perfect baby boy... and now, you're just a few steps away from being a toddler. I can't believe a little over a year has passed already since your arrival. It breaks my heart to see you grow!

A lot of people are trilled once their child turns one but not me. It maybe because of my daughter's hellish terrible two's or because I know that I no longer have a little baby to cuddle. All I know is that I absolutely hate the idea that he's growing up. Every milestone he's hit so far has been hard, but this is truly the hardest. Where has time gone? I am heartbroken!! My baby boy is growing up :'(

Love is in the air...

This past Sunday, I had the privilege of capturing my cousin and her fiancé for a trial photo shoot. I had never photographed a couple before and thought to myself, "Christelle and Al would be perfect for this". They have been together for some time now and boy was I ever surprised when I saw the chemistry between the two. Almost like they just met... I had lots of fun capturing the couple and I can’t wait to do this again once we have nicer weather. I’ve got a lot of ideas flying through my head that I just want to try. 

Did I mention that it was freezing cold out and they never complained once about the weather!? Thank you very much to both of you for coming out and being such great models! Xox

 

 

 

 

Long over due

Last post was almost a year ago... Yikes!! My excuse; I could not remember where my blog was... but I'm here now so here's to hopping for a fresh start...

Kids have grown so much over the past year!! Mat leave will be over pretty soon!! Axel's turning one on Thursday and I'm still trying to figure out where the time has gone... Breaks my heart that my baby is that much closer to not being a baby anymore... and Ariel's way too grown up for a 3 year old.

Has anything changed on Blogger because I can't seem to post any photos... I need help please!!

Road to recovery

On Feb 29th, I was scheduled for brain surgery. The surgery went great and I'm still recovering. Recovery is not easy but so far no complaints. I have noticed a few changes in myself... My writing for one doesn't come as easly as it used to... but I'm still working on it! My memory is not the best either, but I can't expect to be back to my normal self right away. It will take some time. Overall, I'm happy with the result minus a few adjustments that will take a little longer to fix!!
